HELP! Typing name in Zelda:OoT

For some reason, I can't click or type any letters to enter my name on the new file menu. If I press enter it just highlights straight to the 'next' button. I've tried pressing all buttons. This happens with Majora's Mask as well. Any solutions?

You have configured PJ64 to use your preferred keyboard and/or joystick configuration, right? (Options->Configure Controller Plugin...) If so, just select the letter you want to input using the analog stick (whatever you mapped its functions to, that is) and push whatever button you mapped to 'A', just like you would on the N64.
