    How do i change the control settings so i can play with my keyboard?

    Please help me out here!

    Options --> Configure Controller Plugin. The default input plugin that comes with Project64 uses keyboard by default. If you read the accompanied User Manual you can also find this info plus other useful things about using the emulator.
