serious problem- project64

i am new to the emulator business, and am having serious trouble trying to play games..i downloaded project64 yesterday, and unzipped the game, i then attempted to play the unzipped game and it gave me an error saying.."you need to initialise the graphics plugin", what does this meen and how can i solve this problem, am i missing a step..

What is you computer spec, video card, processor, ram amount. Make sure the plugin folder isn't empty or the program has a select plugin.
