Man, I've tried so hard. Where's the 'init' option!?

Hey guys

I've tried literally all night to get Shenmue working on Chankast for a friend who's dying to play it. I've done everything right:

• Put BIOS in the Chankast file
• Running the Shenmue ISO in a virtual drive in Daemon Tools
• Configured drive and controls (left the controls as they were)

...but the help says, "Now click on INIT in the options"...I don't see any option of the kind anywhere?



Where's "init"?

I really want to get this to work Any takers?

Run --> Start. That wasn't very hard, now was it?

Still, I'd recommend nullDc over Chankast any day.

Ah ok cheers. That's what I've been doing, but it just goes to the DC main menu and when I click on the controller to play game, it has some message, which I'm assuming is "Cannot read disc" or something like that?

Does this mean there's something wrong with the .ISO or the BIOS?

Are you sure that you've pointed the CD-ROM plugin to read from the right drive?

Yeah I'm pretty sure. The image is mounted to the G Drive in Daemon Tools, so I picked G Drive in Chankast.

NullDC just crashes everytime I try to play anything on it, even though I've got the BIOS and renamed it etc. Frustrating. Maybe it's the image.

Can you run the BIOS? What do you see after starting a game / the bios?
