pokemon stadium 2 and kirby 64

Ok Ive just downloaded them but I can't seem to move the cursor... (Yes I am useing the D-pad on my controller) It wont even work with my keyboard.. help?

cheack to see if you assined them to anything

Yes they are assined to all the buttons on my controller and when I switch over to keyboard I reassin them to new keys so am sure they are.
