    No FPS Change

    Hi dudes,

i got my new System last week:

    Core 2 Duo E6600 @ default
    ASUS P5W DH Deluxe
    Corsair 2GB DDR2 800
    Geforce 8800GTS

and tried to run Zelda Twilight Princess. I know, its the best looking GC Game and i didnt expectet to have 30 FPS or something. But expected it would at last run a little bit faster than my old Sys:

    AMD 64 3700 @2670 MHz
    AsRock 939 DUAL-SATA II
    Corsair 1GB DDR 400
    Geforce 6800

But i didnt get even 1 Frame more Still 2-6FPS. I was wondering if there is any special configuration in Dolphin for Dual Core or if there was any CPU plugin that boosts the Frames. I use 1.03 Beta, i havent changed any configs yet.

    PS: Wanna have 10 FPS

No matter how fast your pc is, you will still get bad frame rates. Wait for new version of dolphin.

People still do not grasp the concept that GameCube emulation is slow even on high end systems, even after countless similar topics.

It's also worth pointing out that Dolphin is not yet optimized for multiple processors. When you take away the second core, a stock speed E6600 isn't a whole ton better than a 2.67GHz Athlon 64; it's still better, but I'd say not any more than 10-20% or so on the average. Add 20% to 2-6 fps and you get 2.4-7.2 fps. Not a very dramatic change, huh?
