Why!!!!???

I am sorry but.. I posted a thread about DC iso ripping and it was locked by BLIZZ - Please explain why - These are all MY games that I am looking to backup for future emulation purposes so why s it a rom request.
Hope it is OK to challenge you on this point but I do not understand

because it falls under the same territory, these "backups" are used for piracy at the moment, a large proportion of the games already "backed up" are full rips anyway,

and also I don't want this board to become associated with piracy, it's that simple, there are bound to be plenty of places to find the information on the net too but here isn't one of them
