Mouse will not lock into game

I am using Project64 with the Nrage plugin. I configured the mouse in the controller plugin as the analog stick but when I run the games my mouse acts like a regular mouse, the cursor is over PJ64 window and it doesnt affect the game. I tried re-binding the mouselock button but it doesnt seem to be working.

Months ago I used a mouse in PJ64 and it worked just fine, is there some option that I'm not checking or finding? I'm using a logitech g5 laser mouse and before when it was working I was using a microsoft optical mouse, I dont know if that would affect anything. Thanks for any help

Set a hotkey to lock/unlock the mouse (check the Short Cuts tab).

It's because you're using your mouse and have at least one of its functions set to at least one of the controller buttons. Removing your mouse from all controller buttons and functions will fix this issue.

I prefer the keyboard over the actual N64 controller, anyway...except in SSB on NetPlay.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but youre saying I cant use the buttons on my mouse as game controls?

I'm trying to play turok2 with my mouse and keyboard, I want it set up like you would any other FPS with mouse and keyboard, and I know that I've gotten all the mouse buttons to work before.

You can do that, but, you need to understand: Using your mouse and keyboard to control the game is the cause of your mouse locking.

I'm sorry, I'm confusing everyone. I'm not using the word "lock" in the right way. When I said "lock" I meant my mouse never "locks" into the game, not "lock" the mouse out of the game. Does that make sense? Let me break it down:

-I want my mouse to control what is happening in the game

-Instead of "entering" the game, PJ64 is treated like a regular window, the cursor stays on top of the game window and will not affect the game at all.

-I did try using the mouse-lock button (like i mentioned in my first post) but it didnt work, I also tried rebinding it to a different key but that didnt work either.

I hope that makes more sense. I appologize for the confusion
