Transferring saves from Project64 to 1964?

Hi, I was having minor graphics problems in Paper Mario with Project64, so I wanted to test my same save-game in 1964, but I was having trouble doing that.

How exactly can I do that?

It should be a matter of simply renaming your save file to the file name format that 1964 requires. I think that save games need to be renamed to the GoodN64 name of the host ROM for 1964, but I can be wrong on this.

Yep, the save's name in 1964 looks like "PAPERMARIO145124527.fla" or something like that... Run Paper Mario in 1964, it will create a save in his save directory. then rename your PJ's save with the 1964 save name and replace it. It'll work.

but it dont work for saves states it work only for save game
