How please? Thanks.

This is what happens when I select "load project 64 save state":

Nothing shows up when (*.pj?) is selected:

I switch to all files (*.*) and select paper mario.pj:

And this is what happens when i load it. It freezes after this and i have to close it with task manager:

AFAIK, savestates are not compatible between different emulators. native saves are though, but you need to rename that file to match the internal name of the game.

EDIT: on second though wasn't 1964 able to load (or at least convert) Project64 savestates? if so, you should be able to check his from the Load dialog box.

Upon reading another topic, iI unzipped the save file and now it shows up on the "load project 64 save file" screen. But it still won't load, and instead of an error message it just goes black (but it's not frozen).

?????????????????????????
You have filename extensions hidden. Pj compresses all savestates with Zip. So the actual filename would be something.pj.zip. This is a security flaw; you should not hide known extensions by default.

And know that 1964's feature of loading PJ64 states isn't perfect and often fail.
