    Unhappy PJ64 sound problems

I cant get the sound to play properly, it is seroiusly scrachy and distorted. I have tried the troubleshooter but the 'Sync game to audio' doesnt show up in my emulator menu. Help please :-S

Correction, now it shows up but the sound is still the same and emulation is mega slow.

I am having the same problem. I'm running 1.6 with a P$ 2.53 Ghz, 512 Ram, and a Geforce4 MX 440 card (I know the card should be upgraded, but it ran PJ64 fine until today). Plugins are Jabo's Video 3D8 and DirectSound 1.6, with the newest N-Rage. Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Weird, but it seems to be fixed now. I rebooted the program, if that helps anyone else with the problem.

Which version of the N-Rage "direct input" controller plugin are you using? If you are using the BETA version (the 2.0) it ~might~ by some insanely ~slim~ chance be causing you issues. I doubt that is the case, but you might want to try to downgrade to the 1.8 "official" version, and see if your slow-down issue disappears.

The default system audio drivers is your sound card, unless you have multiple sound cards in your computer.
