Ok i am playing paper mario and when i get to the part where you are on the whale heading towards the island the game freezes and does not seem to work. I was reading on your forums a different thread with a problem similar to mine but i could not understand the help given. I tried installing glide 64 video plugin but i do not know which glide 64 to download because there are so many on there site and how i can make it work with pj64. Plz can some 1 help me.

You can definately try the Glide64 plugin if you think it will help, I ~think~ the latest one is the "Glide64 0.7 ME SP8" file. The others are source files or alternate OS files (Like Linux/Unix). You can find that plug in here in the main forum, under the Graphics plugins section of the "N64 Plugins" page.

HOWEVER, you WILL need a 3Dfx card (Like a Voodoo) to use it and it ~must~ be full-screen mode only! In windowed modes, you will see NOTHING.

Also you will need to extract the Zip file as it instructs you in the readme file (Mostly about needing to extract the plugin AND ini file to your Plugins folder in PJ64). Then when you've done that, go to your "Settings" option, choose the Glide64 plug in and then you can test it out. You might have to tweek a few settings until it works to your liking, but it might be a solution.

    Hope that helps.

Glide will work with non-Voodoo cards with a wrapper. Only few people own genuine Voodoo cards nowadays, and if they do, their systems are probably fairly old as well.

This page usually has the very latest version of Glide64 and hactarux's Glide wrapper.

Thank you for that correction, because I wasn't entirely sure of that, as I do have a Voodoo 2 card and didn't use a wrapper... though I don't use it on this computer.

If this solution works well, I just might have to ask ~you~ how you got the game running, and I'll do that when it comes time to play Paper Mario (Been too busy replying OoT).
