    UPDATED Mario 64 Illusion Mapped

I see everyone seems to prefer a cartoony look to mario...Of course i wanted to cross that line....I would have put my time and effort into doom 64 but the rice plugin wont work with it. Anyway here is a pic and download for the castle level thats all thats done.....I won't be doing mario any more on to a new project............

I think you should rename the project. It doesn't feel very illusion like. What would be cool is if you can really create textures that make it look like an illusion. For example, make texture maps that causes the entire castle to kind of blend in with the background. Like it's transparent or something.

what does "illusion mapped" mean though?

you sure like photoshop's "lighting effects"

I think he means the illusion of bump mapping. The trouble with doing this sort of thing is that if you over do the filtering, it can cause it to tile, as can be seen with the pic outside the castle on the grass and ground.
