I'm feeling stupid, because while I know how to put in cheats, and use them... I can't figure out exactly how to get this one to work. I'm using the 1.2 U version (verified Good) with the codes above (placing 3CFF at all three, trying only one at a time, etc.) and I don't see any growing Link.
Do I need to assign a button somehow to make him grow? I'm ASSUMING that's why you have X, Y, and Z after the code in the first set. I can't figure it out, and I would love to just run around all super sized too!

There is no button assign like you're talking about. The X Y Z are simply dimensions, X being left and right (horizontal), Y being up and down (vertical), and Z being depth (thickness). To use it, you just basically imagine link as a box with the dimensions, and just mess around with them. If you're having trouble, just try every set of codes, most likely just the U's though:
U V1.0:
811DAA80 xxxx - X
811DAA84 xxxx - Y
811DAA88 xxxx - Z
U V1.1:
811DAC40 xxxx
811DAC44 xxxx
811DAC48 xxxx
U V1.2:
811DB130 xxxx
811DB134 xxxx
811DB138 xxxx
You might have a different rom than you think, or maybe you're totally right and for some bizarre reason it won't work for you. There's no reason to test them seperately, for an example, just paste:
811DAA80 3CFF
811DAA84 3CFF
811DAA88 3CFF
or
811DAC40 3CFF
811DAC44 3CFF
811DAC48 3CFF
or
811DB130 3CFF
811DB134 3CFF
811DB138 3CFF
That would test each U, and not be so tedious. Just give it a try.
EDIT: I forgot. Make sure to uncheck then recheck the box between the code changes, otherwise it won't take effect. Also, I use 3CC8 instead of 3CFF because it makes it so that Link is still giant, but little link's head just BARELY fits on the screen.
NOTE: Does ANYBODY know how to make one for Majora's Mask???
EDIT 2: OMFG!!! I JUST LEFT THE CHEAT ON, AND THE INTRO MOVIE IS HALARIOUS!!! Link looks so awkward on Epona!!!
Well it appears that this massively affects your fall rate:
811DAA8C 3CFF
811DAA90 3CFF
811DAA94 3CFF
My working size modifer code set was U v1.2.
