I just use the language trick...
I dont know why but if you change the language the game will become more stable!
Then you are able to get in the classic mode!
After "killing" the enemy the game will crash again!
But we are now just at the beginning of Gmaecube emulation so that is good so far!

    aha...

Nice work. I'd also like to know what are the changes, in comparison with standard 0.4 version. I'm also hoping to see the sources sometime in the future.

When I try to run the program with the game (ssmb), the window just pops up and then quickly disappears . This also occurs when I run most DOS programs, may I have some help please?

    What I tried:
Tried to open it on my brother's computer (WinXP)
Tried to open it in the cmd prompt. (I didn't expect this to work)
    Tried it on another game

(Yes, I am opening the gcm file with Gcube, not the other way around, if that's even possible)

Nah, that didn't work. I'll try Google again. Thanks anyway, I'll post again if I can find the answer so someone else doesn't have to keep looking

Maybe give the gcube frontend a shot:

Not saying it will work, but it might. I haven't checked it myself.

Nice work, so far. I've tested a few games.

Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (G4QE) - Boots with a green screen for a couple of seconds, then slowly loads Memory Card dialog.
Super Mario Strikers (GSNP) - Nothing. Window opens then quickly closes.
Ultimate Muscle: Legends vs. New Generation (GKNE) - Loading screen appears, but window quickly closes.
