Hey I just downloaded PSXeven and it was going too fast when I was playing chrono cross. Anyone know how to slow it down?

My guess? You need to enable the framerate limiter in the video plugin.
Ah ok, I will try that, is PSXeven better or some other one? I tried ePSXe but I had to find all the plugins and stuff and could not find them.
As with everything emulation related, my answer is "use what works." I've always used ePSXe; it fits my needs. pSX is a very promising project though.Originally Posted by Jate
All the files you need can be found at emulation64 or ngemu.
ePSXe should fit most of your psx emulation needs, but there are some games that wont work right on ePSXe that work on PSXeven such as the RE games. As stated by allnatural, pSX is an up and coming emulator that is looking great so far. You might wanna try it out.
Desktop: AMD Phenom II x4 970 3.5ghz, 8 gigs DDR3 1600 ram, 1tb hd, Radeon HD 6870 1gb
Laptop: Intel i7 720Qm 1.6ghz, 4 gigs DDR 3 ram, GeForce GTS 360M, 500GB HD
I haven't had any problems with the Resident Evil games under ePSXe. Oh well.
I agree though, pSX is a very promising emulator.
Xebra is also a very promising emulator. It is similiar to pSX that didnt need plugins at all. I highly recommend that you get all three emulators. For an example, Tron Ni Kobun/Misadventure of Tron Bonne will not run on pSX but will run just fine on Xebra.![]()
