Monster Truck Madness 64 problems

On the title screen and every screen that's supposed to show words (i.e. New Game, Load Game, Quit, etc.), it doesn't show the words, instead it shows some wierd bars. What can I do to fix this?

You'll have to change your graphics plugin. I found Jabos 1.5.2 fixed the problem for me.

I don't know much about plug-ins. Where do I get that one? Does it make other games screw up?

Jabo's Direct3D6 1.5.2. is included with Project64 and you can't find it anywhere else. Some plugins work better witth certain games than others.
