I was on Ebay. . .looking for n64 stuff. . .found a 64 dd with the f-zero expansion and all kinds of stuff. . .but then I saw something that boggled my mind. . .it looks like a generic Expansion pack. . .and then I started wondering. . .are there any alternatives to the expansion pack that work even better? can anybody give me a straight up yes or no?

There were unofficial expansion packs released, which were cheaper (and lower quality) than Nintendo's official version.

Hey. . . I was thinking about buying the 64dd and donating it to the pj64 staff. . .probably not forever though. . .I'm pretty greedy. . .

Well they had a generic expansion pak, cause i ordered one off of amazon for $7

I guess it didn't work any better than the real Expansion Pack?. . .but. . .would it be possible to make one that would work better? I don't know anything about making hardware up from thin air, but could it be done, hypothetically?

I thought all the expansion pack did was add 4 MB to the N64.
