N64 emulator on PS2?

According to this page, http://www.otakunozoku.com/ps2/index.html .. 1964 has been ported to PS2. Unfortunately, the guy says he can't release it.

Bearing in mind that the new source code to 1964 has been released, is anyone working on porting it across to PS2?

Imagine how great it would be to play multiplayer GoldenEye on Playstation! No need to get the N64 out the cupboard every time..

the source is released so someone can do it, but there have been many discussions on why it wont be a reality for a while.
if it happens , not soon
and anyway, i read that article the day it came out and that was a LONG time ago, maybe he just wanted some fame, but there hasnt been anything on that since that article thing was posted

Well yeah, I know it's old, but I never thought of asking that question on these forums before.

Is there any log of such discussions? I'd be more than interested in reading them and seeing if progress can be made.
