    Mic Problem

    Hi, I'm having trouble with my Mic I plugged it into the right ports but it doesn't record any sounds any help is appreciated (BTW my volume is on and working).

    PC: OS:Windows XP Professional Edition Service Pack 2 CPU:Intel(R) Core(R)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHzGraphics Card:nVidia GeForce 8800 GTS Memory: 3.00BG of Ram Sound Card:Realtek High Definition Audio Other: 1 Terabyte Hardrive

    Are you sure the mic is in the right port? if so with what program are you trying to use the mic?
