N64 Mario Kart memory leak(?), freeze

Hi there, I find that Mario Kart runs well in SixtyForce with the following exceptions:

    1. While the first course I play is relatively lag-free, subsequent courses get laggier and laggier. I assume this is a memory leak.

    2. Every time I complete a cup, the game freezes. This seems always to occur right after my final score is tallied up.

I am running a first-gen Mac Mini 1.25GHz with 256MB RAM, Radeon 9200/32MB, and Panther. (I worry that if I install Tiger it'll suck up a lot more of my somewhat meager resources.) Anyone else have this problem or know a fix? I haven't turned up anything on the Sixtyforce page or through Google, but it could be I just don't know where to look.

EDIT: Oops, didn't even see this thread. Sorry about that.

Upgraded my Mini to 1GB RAM and the latest version of Tiger. Problem persists.
