    Echelon releases. A possible fix?

I read the FAQ, and it stated that Echelon releases don't work. But yesterday, I had stubbled upon a site that had a fix for it. I think it completely removes the Echelon intro or something from the backup. At the time though, it didn't seem relevant to me. Now I actually would like to test it out, and I can't find the damn site. Does anyone know where this supposed Echelon fix can be found?

You can remove the only one of echelon intros (like in Unreal Tournament). Just delete beginning of 1ST_READ.BIN to "09 00 09 00 09 00 ..." There is no way to remove latest intros (like in Tennis 2k2) because main bin has some kind of compression. Noramlly bin with intro is larger - the latest ech relases has smaller bins. Its annoying also for me - DC (not chankast) user.
