What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

whenever I load rice's video plugin and start OOT Link's tunic is white, the horse has no legs, the letters in the menu are gone, and the terrain is see-thru. I have a P4 2.0, ATI Rage 128 running XP SP2... is it cause of my crappy video card?

My friend has that card.
Counter-Strike looks like a huge cluster of pixels. In other words: Looks like crap.

Even a Radeon 7000 would work.

That Damn Good
You can use an upgrade big time. You can get a low budget nvidia 6 series card or a cheap ati card. If you have money to spend then you can go with the 6800 or 7800.

I'm actually a fan of that card since it has full featured open source linux drivers...

But yes like already mentioned it's really no good for modern graphic intense games/apps

Carbon-based molecule.
I'd be willing to bet that if you used onboard video (as in, motherboard integrated video), 3D performance will be faster than that card. Especially if it's a motherboard recent enough to sport a P4 2ghz.
