    Alternate Keys

Hey there, I'm just here to ask if it's possible to have alternate keys. Y'know, a second key that corresponds to the same control. For example, both the keys "s" and "down" is for C-down. I'm wondering if there's a plugin or something that would enable that, because I'm considering on buying the Smartjoy Plus, and I'd like to have controls similiar to the Gamecube N64 emulator. (The C-stick and X,Y,Z buttons are both for the C-buttons.)

(PS: Smartjoy Plus is an Adaptor so you can plug your PS or PS2 controller into your computer.)

Well, you could always just have alternate profiles for each config, e.g. save a GCN controller style as "gccontrol.cpf" or something and just load it whenever you need to use it.
    That's a LOT of zeroes.

What you're looking for is DarkMan's Direct Input plugin. You can find it here.

PS: It's compatible with N64 emulators that use plugins and Chankast (the Dreamcast emulator).

Thanks for the quick reply. heh, I think it's kinda cool that my input went in the FAQ.

Edit: I got Darkman's Plugin, but I'm wondering if there's any other plugins like that. This one seems kinda hard to configure, there's no profiles, just preset stuff, I've done some fiddling around with the ini file but it's still quite painstakingly long to configure.

In fact profiles=presets. Configuration may look hard but it isn't. In any case it would be better to read the manual that comes with the plugin.
If you're still unsure about what some options do create a new preset and do configuration expiraments with it. This way you will not affect the other presets and you'll be able to safely erase it if something goes wrong.
