Unhappy All star baseball 2001 keeps crashing

how do i stop it from crashing? i'm using project 64 with jabo direct3d 1.6, jabo directinput 1.6, jabo directsound 1.6. i've tried with different video plugins. what could possibly be wrong. i tried with different resolutions. i tried with limit fps on and then off. i tried the rtool thingy and patched it, and it still doesnt work. the crc check says its good. what could possibly be the problem? what other settings can i tweak? also i'm using amd athalon 3200+ 64 bit, 1gb ddr, 120gb sata western digital, on windows xp sp2 pro. im tearing my hair out over here. strange because all the other games work fine.

    please help.

yeah i've also noticed 2000 and 1999 arent stable either. half way through a game the game freezes at a certain point maybe after i hit a home run or steal a base or something but the fps keeps counting. its very strange. but i found something right after i posted this that said to use the rom on 1964 but im having problems with that emulator also. i love this game, its a shame it doesnt work all that great.

just in case people out there are still looking to play this game i have discovered it works perfectly in pj64 v1.6 if you use Azimers HLE audio v0.56 WIP1 audio plugin that comes with the latest build of mupen. my guess is its the emulate/simulate ai option in the plugin that gets around the issue

Hey, I spent a week trying to get this game to work, and finally did it.

The configuration that worked for me was Project64, Rice's Video Plugin 6.1.1, Azimer's HLE Audio v0.56 WIP 2, and N-Rage's Direct-Input8 V2 1.80a, AND (the kicker) with all the audio turned off in the game. Recently, I've been able to play with the audio enabled in game, but sometimes it freezes. Also, don't forget to turn on the FPS limiter.
