Question My USB adapter doesn't work?

So I just got a USB adapter for my N64 controller. I plugged it in and installed the drivers for it, and it doesn't work with Project64. I fiddled around with the controller plugin options for a while, but nothing seemed to work.

My keyboard controls still work but when I try to press buttons on the controller itself, it doesn't do anything.

What can I do to fix this?

Mame sure that 'controller is plugged in' is checked and that you actually select your joypad from the pull down meny right above 'controller is plugged in'.
That is if you are using Jabo's plugin, but you didn't specify.
Also make sure to remap all the buttons to your controller buttons,by default keyboard is selected.
