    Beta Mario 64 GUI Pack

It may not be perfect, but I've tried to recreate some aspects of it. Image:

If anyone could retexture the beta image of mario's head (next to the lives), it would be greatly appreciated.

The alpha layers need A LOT of work though... and maybe you should do more work before you make a thread because from what I can tell this is a 10 minute job that anyone could easily do.

Go ahead, do better, I'd like to see you try. And even if you succeed, atleast you'd backup your claim. Someone might aswell delete this topic, as it is not appreciated at all... I know I'm not the best at recreating textures, but I just thought that I would contribute something that I had made. Maybe someone would find it useful.

Did you just use regular paint, or did you use photoshop or paintshop pro? If you used just paint than it's pretty good for paint, but if you used photoshop or paintshop you need more practice.

Why do you say that? And for the record, it does.
