What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Question about Texture Dump

PaperMario

New member
Hey, I've read the instructions for how to dump textures...
I'm at the point at which I am to go to (in Project64)
Options>Configure Graphics>Texture Filters
But now that I've gone to this tab, there is nothing under it.
It just says "Advanced options are not allowed to be changed."
I didn't know that I had to get "permission" :p
Anyway, can anyone please tell me how to fix that?
Anyone who takes the time to answer my question,
can you please briefly explain what to do from this point?
I have made 2 new folders
1) C:\Program Files\Project 64 1.6\Plugin\texture_dump
2) C:\Program Files\Project 64 1.6\Plugin\hires_texture
So... I'm confused as to how i "extract" the Image from the rom,
and also how I determine what image is actually being extracted..?
thanks in advance, Soon I'll too contribute to the HiRes Retexturing that
might I add, Everyone is doing a great job at ^^
