    SMC file type

I can't get .smc files to work on Project 64. I've searched for a while now, and tried the instructions wwith verifying ROMs in the user manual, but I still can't get them to work. I can play a .v64 ROM fine, but no .smc files.

Probably a newb mistake, but that would be nicer then a long complicated one. All I'm really trying to get to work is Harvest Moon 64.

SMC is one of the extensions for SNES ROMs. This means that they run on SNES emulators (ie: ZSNES). You can't run SNES games on N64 emulators and Project64 is a N64 emulator.

That's a bit weird. I just tried running it on JNES, and it doesn't work either, but the info says it's supposed to be a N64 ROM. Thanks for clearing that up though.

JNES is a NES emulator not a SNES emulator. You can't run SNES games on NES emulators and JNES is a NES emulator. You can find ZSNES (a SNES emulator) here: http://www.zsnes.com/

    Uhhh...
Trying to run a n64 rom on a nes emulator is like trying to stick a n64 cart into a nes and expect it to run... but ehhh...
