    SSF 10 wont work :(

    i was at my friends house and i downloaded it and it worked but when i got home it wouldnt play on my comp or my sisters... when i open it, a mini popup says something and the program closes... is there something i need 2 install? please IM me on AIM - iitaliangangstaa or reply here.     Does the computer support SSE2? If not that could be the reason for the crash.

    If you go into the subfolder messages from the ssf folder, you'll see a file called "default". Open this file for editing in notepad or whatever, and you'll see two words, "japanese", then "english", switch them and save it, and when you go into ssf, all the error messages will now be in english, and you can tell us what the pop-up box said.

    found it

    it says there no sse2. Where do i get one? PLEASE HELP!

    The only way to get SSE2 is to get a new CPU.

    Newer (beyond Willamette core I think) Pentium 4 CPUs and AMD64 support SSE2... other than that you'll be out of luck I'm afraid

    well, you're not missing much. Even with an sse2 processor, most games run really slow.

    Williamette supports SSE2 as well. It was introduced with it.

    Deathace: Right.. and what CPUs have you tested it on?
