ON Castlevania (Legend of Darkness)

I have successfully finished the stories of Cornell and Henry.

In Henry's mode, the total of six children have been rescued. However, I still fail in the entrance of the stories of Reinhardt and Carrie.
???

I think it may be the problem of SAVE. As far as I know, PJ 64 cannot properly emulate the normal save and load in the series of Castlevania. Only the state saving and loading is available when playing.

Here I attach a picutre of this game and hope some game expert can help me solve this problem.
