DoA2LE Error, or stupid user?

Hello everyone, I'm new here.

I have previously run Dead or Alive 2 Limited Edition on Chankast .25, but after I reinstalled, the game execution stops after the Namco splash screen with the following message:



Unfortunately I cannot read the message, so I do not know what's stopping the game from continuing the execution process. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The message is about the memory card in slot A1.
Do you have one plugged in and is it formated ?

Hmm, I reformated the cards, but I still see the error message.

Go to the plugins configuration of the emulator and set it to use a "VMS with LCD" only on the first slot of the first controller port. Then format the card again.
If you have the same screen after that try to press some buttons.

Thank you guys, everything seems to work fine now. I imported a save game from GameFAQs, and it seemed to work after that. I'll try your method PsyMan if I run into similar trouble again, if I remember to.
