Paper Mario (Non-Graphics Issue)

While playing Paper Mario on Project64 1.6 I have gotten to the part where Peach needs to bake a cake. I have spent a good couple hours trying to bake it but I can't is there by chance some issue with the emulator clock or something I should know? Save is attached if that helps any.

Using your save I performed these actions:
Put the cake in, let it bake for ~30 seconds following my PC's clock.
Decorated the cake and took it to gourmet guy and he loved it.

No problem whatsoever aside from the small graphical glitches, but thats not related to baking the cake.

It appears it had something to do with version 1.6 on my computer...I used v. 1.5 and did this on my first try.

Well, I never had any problems with that part.
The only thing that REALLY irritates me is the friggin flickering.

Hello everyone,

I have the exact same issue; I´m using Project64 2.1.0.1 and the gourmet guy doesn´t accept my cake, because my baking time isn´t correct. Unfortunately, the homepage of Project64 is offline at the moment, so I can´t download the 1.5 version that helped here.

My Plugins are:
- Jabo's Direct3D8 1.7.0.57-ver5
- Jabo's DirectSound 1.7.0.7
- Jabo's DirectInput 1.7.0.12
- RSP Plugin 1.7.0.9

My savegame is in the attachment.

Anyone with an idea?
If I should open a new thread, just tell me and I will do. I wasn't sure which way to go.

What you should't do, is ask in 9 year old threads. Project64 1.5 is ancient. Try with 1.6, 2.X have timing issues.

Okay, got it for next time. Used 1.6 now and it worked thank you!
