    Game Shark

    I have ver 0.4 for linux and it works great but is there a way to use gameshark codes in the games?

    argh... the feature that's been delayed so many times.... Well it's not possible yet.

    What you can do is saving a state using hotkeys (0-9 to select save slot, F5 to save, F7 to restore). If you use this feature (I learned to because of stability issues in the beginning) you can always go back when you messed up. That's all the cheat I need

    is there a utility to patch the code into the rom beforehand? then I could just have 2 versions of the rom.

    Punchin Codes

    You can find game names and codes for them that you do button combos for. Ok some are limted but you can still cheat using mupen
