running evolution 2 on chankast

hi all,
anyone could run this game on chankast 0.25? because when i boot the cd player appears.. weird.

Works for me too. If the cd player appears there could be a few problems with your configuration. First you could run Windows 2000 and did not use the 'cdrom aspi interface' for more compatability because the default 'cdrom interface xxx' does not work very good or not at all in Windows 2000. This also means that you have to install the adaptec aspi layer or forceaspi too.

Check your 'original' backup with a burning program if you use deamon tools or use alcohol 120% image properties. Or use a program like Ultraiso, cdmage (outdated) and what not more if your image has a 2mb track that reads as an audio track. If it does not have this audio track use selfboot, makecdi or exoboot and make it bootable. Makecdi found in this forum is very basic but requires little modification to a bat file and with the data copied to the 'data' folder it gives good bootable results. These final .cdi images only work with deamon tools 3.29 and found out just not so long ago they also work with Gamejack v4.0 but it's not free.

Last option is to boot an Utopia Boot Disc and swap in your game. This swapping is neccesary everytime you want to play.
