Is 1964 the best n64 emulator to play n64 games on? I used to have one of em months ago, but i really cant remember which one it was.
Thanks.

Both PJ64 and 1964 have similar compatability. 1964 is best for lower end systems, also certain games work better on PJ64 than 1964 and vice versa.

I'm not sure about low-end systems, but 1964 is a great emu. I would actually reccomend you get 1964 and Project64 and try them out yourself.
I have both PJ64 and 1964 on my system. If a game is giving me a problem, I switch emulators.
With 1964 I am using Rice's video plugin, and with PJ64, I'm using all of Jabo's plugins.
I recommend that setup because, between the two emulators, you can run almost anything to near-perfection.
w00t!
i also use both. You should run tests to see what configs run best
Even I, with my crappy system, uses both emulators.
I'm finding 1964 easy for some games and PJ64 better for other games, like Zelda
Think we have enough of these threads yet? I mean it isn't rocket science to use the search function, or to test them yourself.
