    Annoying Zelda OOT issues

Hey I hope you guys can help me. I'm using 1964 with Rice 6.0.0c. Most of the game is fine, but at the top the action icon is all blurred so you can barely make out the letters (same with 5.2 and 5.5 Rice video). Also, when I press start to enter the menus, it takes a looooooong pause, during which 80% of my CPU is idling, before opening the menus. But when I return to the actual game, it does so quickly.

I want to know if anyone else has this problem (particularly the menu; the action icon's no big deal), and if anyone knows how to fix it?

PJ64 with Jabo Plugins does not have the action icon blurring, but does not show water without RGB, which is REALLY annoying! It, too, takes forever to load the menus when I press start.

If anyone can help me with PJ64 getting the water to appear without going RGB and slow menu, or can help me with 1964 fixing blurring icons (not essential) and slow menu, I would very very very much be happy!

    My specs:
2.66 GHZ Intel Pentium 4 Processor
    512mb PC2100 DDR ram
    Intel extreme graphics 64MB

"Intel extreme graphics 64MB" is the route of the problem.

    Use Glide64+Evoodoo.

Which problem? I got Glide64 and am using the Evoodoo 4.1 Nemesis Wrapper, and it works better than anything else. I'm using it with PJ64 now, but the menu screen still takes a loooong time to load and it's not my CPU being inadequate.

Button blurring, fixed. No water, fixed. Anyone got any ideas for the slow menu?

Also, If someone has a link to a version of Evoodoo that is better than Nemesis, I'd appreciate knowing where it is.

You're supposed to enable a cheat to get the submenu delay fixed.
Stuff is good. Most stuff anyway. ^_^

Which cheat is that? I am afraid to try very many but I tried levitate since that doesn't affect the game but it didn't work. Is there a particular one?

I've been playing anyway, and it's not a cripling thing, but it is very annoying!

In pj64, it's called "Subscreen delay fix" I think. Should be the same in 1964 if it's there, or you'll have to copy it from pj.

I don't see it! I might be doomed, or have a bad version of OOT. I may just have to live with it. Thanks for the help anyway, guys.

It's a classic case where emulation is not perfect. There is likely a messagequeue wait that either times out or is very late arriving... If only someone would fix those issues.
