little question about mario 64 (im a newbie :()

i just got a tiny probly that is pretty annoying sometimes when i play the mario 64 the top layer where it tells you how many coins you have collected just disapears i played around withthe video plug in and nothing happens but sometimes it just pops up out of nowhere

my question is is there something i could do to keep that top layer from vanishing on me?

Please provide system specification (hit start, click run and type in dxdiag, hit enter, some is provided there)

and Emulator Plugin Setup, just what plugins you are using.

After all, I'm not psykick but neither is anyone else on this board.
