MDF image format / echelon problem

I have DOA 2 LE image with a 795 411KB MDF file and a 2KB MDS file. I've read the threads where the image was a .cdi format with the 1st_read.bin and ip.bin, but this image i have has none of these, and i can't find a program that will convert this format. I cant get past the echelon intro, just get a black screen. I'm using alcohol 52% to mount the image and using chankast .25. Thanks!

Intro's games don't work with emulator. Very diffcult to remove to it takes someone who really knows there stuff.
