Question Star Wars Episode 1 Racer

Ive looked in the compatibility list and it says that it hangs after the intro screen. Has anyone found a way to get past this as I really want to play this as i think, in my opinion, that it's a gud game, has anyone got past it or is it one of those wait-for-the-next-version things?
