how do I fix this or get a replacement for 30 or less Legally, since nintendo wants me to pay $80 dollars to get this screen fix.

bwahaha, same thing happened with my vanilla gba when i tried to afterburner mod it, aheadgames.com replaced it for 35 USD, but, since the afterburner has been discontinued, i also believe they have stopped doing vanilla GBA mods, and now only do LED Mods, and SP Stealth Dimmer mods, maybe you can check when the site is back up
