Paper Mario hang up

I know that there *IS* a bug in both pj and 1964. I dunno if this is a core or plugin issue. 'Cuz it just hangs. And when using interpreter, it says "memory adress error". ???
Anyway, it's supposed to trigger when u get something in the game. I'm not sure what, though. I know it's not the hammer or the boots, nor ur life or fp. That's for sure. There's something else. Anybody else have gotten this hang in paper mario?



It's not really a big issue, but it's still there. So I put in a cheat to gent myself that would set the star points (I think) to 0, avoiding u to level up. Since it's when u get a level the emulator hangs. This is an issue in both pj and 1964 so u know.

hey, i've never had this hang that you are saying when i played Paper Mario. I was able to beat the game without any hangs. using 1964 0.71 and jabo d3d6, no sound. my specs are: k6-2 500, 96 mb of ram, ati rage lt pro, just don't know what's my mobo. if there's anything you wanna know, just e-mail me at

If you do use cheats, though, I've tested.
The emulator hanged just at the beginning of the first battle. The battle with the croc, or whatever his name is.
Test this.

that's a known issue, at least for me. you can't activate the infinite hp/fp cheats before the first battle against bowser. if you put the cheats after fighting him, the emulator won't hang.

the point with the first battle against bowser is that u HAVE to loose it, man. it's part of the story line.

I know that. The first *REAL* battle. With that croc, after bowser.
