    Question Jabo's DirectSound plugin

I've been playing with PJ64 a lot but Jabo's DirectSound plugin doesn't seem to work on my PC. It seems I'm the only one who has this problem, cause no one else reported this.

    PC-config:
    PIII 450, 256Mb
    Voodoo 3 3000 (16Mb)
    Soundblaster 128 PCI

    Windows '98
    DirectX v8.0a

Anyone with the same problem or even better with a solution?

With version 1.3 it crashes my PC completely (CTRL+ALT+DEL won't even work). With version 1.4 it does not crash but you can only hear crackles (static noise or something like that?)

    If someone can help, please!!!

    Exclamation TRS, hold it!!

The Soundblaster Audio PCI is a trusty sound card. It has these strong points: excellent wavetable MIDI and excellent DOS support. I had none of the two major issues that some Soundblaster Live users have: Windows crash (blue screen of death) and crackling audio. I never had a problem with Jabo's audio plugin.

    NOTICE: is HLE audio enabled??

Jabo's audio plugin, like Zilmar's REQUIRE LLE/MLE RSP audio emulation that's CURRENTLY ONLY available in Project 64 and
    DOES NOT support HLE'd audio.

To disable HLE audio, go to RSP configuration and make sure
"Send RSP lists to audio plugin" or similar is unchecked.

    :colgate: Thanks RJA,

Unchecking the "Send RSP lists to audio plugin" option worked. The plugin works fine now.

    Thanks a lot,
    TRS :colgate:
