"Roor, shunt, and Scar_T have decided to show off their latest progress with the first initial alpha release of their PS2 emulator, PS2emu. Keep in mind this is still in the early stages of development and still a work in progress. Keep in mind this is not for playing commercial games and is only to show everyone the latest progress. DYNAMIC RECOMPILERS are less than 10% complete, but the performance is faster than usual because the implementation of a new recompiling technique developed specifically for this project that will allow us superior performance to a normal dynamic recompiler.
I also wanted to let you guys know you will need bios files (SCPH10000.BIN and ROM1.BIN) for PS2emu to function. Please don't ask us where to get these. Be sure to download the plugins from the download section because there is no plugins included in the release file. Currently sound support is untested, and does not support HOST emulation."
