What exactly is the DVD plugin on Dolphin for, I jsut dont get it. GC's dont even play DVD's, except the mini-ones that the game are on.

Well, it can run isos. Why it's called a DVD plugin is simply because it represents the DVD side of the GC so to speak. It handles all DVD read calls and reads from the iso instead etc...as far as I know.

What he said. Also, saying "the music is streamed through the CD plugin" wouldn't be very PC.
