PJ64 no longer works

This is really strange. For a long time I could use it with no problems. Then it started a few days ago and PJ started to go funny on me, not loading up at all and displaying the 'PJ64 has encounted a problem and will now close' message. I reinstall ed it and it worked... until now. Now this doesn't work at all. Normally I can fix problems like this, but this particular one I can't.

Here are the things I've tried without success:
-Deleted PJ64 and reinstalled
-Deleted the PJ64 registry
-Deleted the PJ64 registry and PJ64 and reinstalled
-Reinstalled to several different directories
-Installed not putting any extra plugins in the plugins folder
-Deleted registry files related to PJ64
-Copied a previously working PJ64 from a CD

Also, all my other N64 emulators work correctly so it's not a Direct X/Driver issue (it worked previously with my current DX and nVidia drivers before.)

I'll attach the error report I get.

Please help!

Project64 problem

The message "Project64 has encountered a problem and needs
to close" is from Windows XP. That means Project64 is
crashing when attempting to load Project64. Something
in Windows got corrupted. You should do a system restore.

I also suggest you to run Chkdsk, because you may be getting
the early telltale signs of a corrupted MFT or other parts
of NTFS. If using FAT32, you *MUST* let Chkdsk run automatically
everytime Windows crashed. And if using FAT32, your problem
may be caused by crosslinked files.

NTFS normally fixes problems on the fly.

FAT32 *cannot* fix problems on the fly.

I did both things, chkdsk and System Restore (even though it said system restore failed) Project 64 has started to work again. Thanks a million. :)

If I run into the problem again, I'll post here, but only after doing the system restore and chkdsk. Thanks again.
