Turok 3 sees damaged memory pak

When I start Turok 3 it says that I have a damaged memory pak or unsupported device. Then it asks to attempt repair, retry, or continue with inability to save. I tried both of the first 2 options without success

I did forum search and didn't find this problem anywhere.

system: 1800 XP+, 512mb p2700, gf3 ti200, 2x40gb hdd raid 0, win 98 se

You are not alone, I had that problem too, but with snowbow kids, and all I had to do was repair it.

Also, is yoiur memory pak save slot on a not-editable source? I put my emulator folder on a data disk and triedto play it at a friends house, and it wouldnt let me open (and therefore edit the save file and therefore it would read an incorrect save slot) the save because you cant edit a data disk.
