Save State issues

Hello, for some reason with the new version of Jnes (v.0.50) - the emulator locks when I try to load a save....whether it be from a file or a specific location...basically no matter what I do, save wont load.

Sometimes it even locks when I try to save in a specific location (in the menu its "Save As...").

I've also noticed that before the "lock", when I try to load a save, the framerate literally drops to below 1 almost to zero.

I am running Jnes on:

Pentium III 733mhz
512MB SDRAM
Geforce 3 Ti200
Soundblaster Live!
Win 98 SE

Some feedback on how to possibly fix this would be appreciated.

ok, apparently "restore from..." and possibly "save as" are broken when you have "pause emulator while in the background" option set in the SETTINGS dialog

i'll work on fixing that, other than those 2 problems, not sure about the other one(?), are you using an old save state?
