Woah...
This pack is coming together nicely! If there's ever a complete retexture pack with these kind of graphics, it may even surpass zeth's renaissance pack! Seriously, keep up the good work guys!

Question. When I use Mudlord's Rice Video Build 6.1.4 and I play Majoras Mask the pack that makes it look better. It flickers. Why?

And also the Zelda OOT packs when I click the menu thing I see this. Go down and see the large picture.

Leonhart gave you the right answer. Your framebuffer settings are off.

What should I change the frambuffer too?

What about the flicker problem? It also, seems when it flickers my character stops his movement sometimes.

Also, is Rice Video the only plugin that can use the Hi-Res Textures?

Please Help
Anyone!!!!?

I just discovered this project, and would love to help. I am not artistic, but can provide texture dumps. I'm going through the game again, and I just finished the 2nd dungeon; Dodongo's cave. If you guys are interested just let me know.

The future of this project

As most of you already know I won't be able to work on this project for half a year as I'll do a practical training abroad. I'll leave on sunday so there are still many things to sort out.

For now I really want to keep working on this when I get back - BUT half a year is a long time especially with all these new expiriences. As I'll be away I will check here from time to time, but I won't be able to be around all time and I won't have access to my files. So I need someone to talke care of this. This brings up my first question:

Who thinks he can manage the project at least as long a I'm away?
This is a community project and I never felt as the "boss" in the first place, but we need someone who will manage contributions add them to the pack, will take care of people who want to help and need advice.

Is there anyone who would like to do that? You wouldn't have to do any retexturing at all. Just check the board regulary, add new textures and perhaps pop out an update now and then.

Zelda Community Retexture Project BETA Pack

I'm releasing a new update which includes all updates to this date plus all unreleased textures like the Graveyard and Kakariko Village. If you still have installed an old version delete everything in the folder before installing it.
Special thanks go out to Chieftain459 (Sun Cave and Dodongo Cavern) and DCS78 (Item pictures and various others) for their recent contributions.

Part II

Ocarina of Time retexturing SDK

I created this to have a knowledge and material base for the all retexturers on this project and others.
Among tutorial and tool recommendations it also has links to an extensive library of base textures and a huge collection of reference photoshop files that can show you how a certain texture is made (ordered by area and function)

Find the link here.

The project page at N64 redux wil be updated tommorow.

As a long-time lurker (joined somewhen in 2005) with way too much free time (just finished high school and haven't started university yet) I think that "checking the board out regularly and adding new textures" seems like the best way to be a more active member of this community... As long as I don't have to create textures myself (unfortunately I don't have any artistic skills), I think I may be up to the task.

Feel free to choose somebody with a higher post-count though, I understand that you might not want to trust somebody with a post-count as low as mine...

Mode7, we'll really miss your contribution on the forum. As someone with absolutely NO free time (baby + two jobs), I can only watch from the sidelines while those who can do. Thanks for the work you put into this piece of work, I hope to see it finished someday

BTW the second file seems to be broken.
