If I set the controller and light gun, the game loads perfectly but I do not know which are the controls, the mouse does not work.

Hi folks, just made this account to see if anyone could help me with this issue. Currently running Project 64 2.0 to play some Conker's Bad Fur Day and wanted to use my F510. I'm having difficulty getting the rumble pack to work though. I tried using NRage but when I activated the rumble pack the only option for Forced Feedback was none and all other options were greyed out. I then tried updating to the latest Nrage thinking that would help but still nothing. If anyone could help me out with this I would greatly appreciate it. I am running the 510 in DirectX mode if that makes a difference.

Hello everyone,

I just committed a complete re-write of the input autoconfiguration code in the Hg repository. I think this will be a big improvement: it should support more use cases and be more user-friendly. I believe that it solves all of the common stumbling blocks that people ran into with the old design.

I wrote up a wiki page on some use cases and the new design change here:

http://code.google.com/p/mupen64plus...putPluginUsage

I would appreciate it if as many people as possible could build the latest and try it out with your systems. It should automatically clear out your old config sections and set everything up for full auto. You can read the wiki page and tweak the setup for your individual needs.

Sven has added new prebuilt binaries for Windows, Debian, and Ubuntu here:

https://bitbucket.org/ecsv/mupen64pl...18d0131bb0a6d0
http://packages.qa.debian.org/m/mupe...9T193306Z.html
http://packages.debian.org/source/ex...plus-input-sdl
https://launchpad.net/~sven-eckelman...pa-mupen64plus

I'm looking forward to everyone's feedback.

Seriously, I pay around $60 - 70$ USD just for my 15 Mbps Internet. And around another $40 - $50 for TV (1 TV Box with the basic-most package, no HDTV or other fancy stuff + Analog (direct RF cable) on my room's TV). I don't even know how much I'm paying for the phone. Until now I've been somewhat content with what I have, that is, until I came across this:

https://fiber.google.com/

What is it, you may ask? In overly-simplified terms, is Internet & TV by Google. But what is so special about it? Well, you should take a look at their packages:

"Slow" Internet: It's plain 5 Mbps Internet. There's a little bit about it, trough: You pay the $300 initial subscription fee, and onwards you pay $0 monthly fee. That's right, it's free after the initial payment. If I could do that with my current provider I would probably use the money to get HD cable...

(Extremely) Fast Internet: It's the "Premium" version, you pay the initial $300, then a $70 monthly fee. The difference between this and my current Internet package, however, is the speed. While for that price my provider offers me 15 Mbps, Google offers -sit down- 1 Gbps Internet!!! That's right, one Gigabit per second, or 128 Megabytes per second. Delusional, don't you think? This is because of their implementation of Optic Fiber, which is much faster than the cable that goes into your modem. But that's not all...

Internet + TV: It's the above, plus cable service, for the same initial fee and $120 monthly fee. The difference between my TV, however, is that it offers all-HD channels, without prohibitively expensive additional fees. I mean damn, HD cable is just gorgeous.

Really, as soon as I saw that, I immediately felt like I've been flushing money down my toilet

The reason I didn't rush to cancel my current service, however, is because it currently is only available in Kansas, Texas (and coming to Austin, Texas and Provo, Utah). That just felt like a kick in the balls  But I swear if someday it launches in my city I'll instantly head over to cancel my current service, because I never though about what some people are getting for what I pay...

So, just wanted to let you know, because it feels so bad... Well, I advise you just check to make sure you aren't paying for overpriced Internet! :vampire:

(Yeah it may sound as advertisement or spam but I'm being super-serious here. I would really like to have it! :()

C:\Program Files (x86)\Project64 2.1\Plugin\Cache is the folder in which I placed the 2 files for the majora's mask HD texture pack by Djipi. I set all the correct settings and followed the tutorials to a T. But for some reason when I boot up the game it just doesn't load the texture pack at all, the 2 .dat files that is. Now I'm not sure if maybe I'm doing something wrong or if I have to unpack something. I'm no pro at this, any help would be appreciated.

Hi everyone I am new here to the forums.I have a program on a drive, I cloned the drive. I am using this on one computer only. The original drive runs the program no problem. The second (cloned) drive says not authorized. The main drive emulates and creates a second drive letter say Z when I open the exe on the HD. The cloned drive will not open the program past the welcome loading screen and says not authorized, never loads the second drive letter and has a file called zs.exe running in the background under task manager.

I thought it was something with the drive, or maybe some files inside the HD. I was able to find a CDD file and I got into that and now I am have three .dat files as follows: _proj.dat (all program info), _fonts.dat, and _detect.dat.

The _proj.dat file has information on how to start the program, all of the errors that could occur, what the code will say including the one regarding the hard drive not being authorized. Is there a way to edit this file and my program works the same?

Is there a way to bypass the hard drive security and just auto run no matter which hard drive I run it from. If I start it with my external HDD, and then unplug and plug in my other one the program works once it is started, it is just getting it to start.

There are also lua51.dll and lua5.1.dll files included on the drive.

Could it be I need to edit my proj.dat file and the .dll files located next to the exe?

Hi everyone, this is my first post on this forum so hello.
I use a macbook pro and I downloaded the DeSmuME v. 0.9.9 a few days ago. The first pokemon game I played on this emulator was Heartgold and it worked fine until Bellsprout tower, where the loading screens just kept freezing (apparently I wasn't alone on this one) so I decided to try play some of the older versions like Diamond and Platinum. The problem I have with these two is that everything is fine until after the starting screen (after I choose my gender, name, rival's name, etc.) and the red gyarados sighting newscast and the thing about what prof. rowan says. Basically, after the news report and rowan's quotes are over, the whole screen is just white patches of boxes and all the sprites and stuff aren't loaded. I can still move around and hear the music playing, but I'm just a white box surrounded by more white boxes. Is anyone else having this problem, and how can I fix it? I really want to play them :(

DeSmuME is a freeware emulator for the NDS roms & Nintendo DS Lite games created by YopYop156. DeSmuME is also known as YopYop DS is written in C++ for Microsoft Windows and can play Nintendo DS homebrew and commercial nds roms. The emulator its self is in French (with full user translations to English and other languages). But even French version of DeSmuME is easy to navigate through menus as it has a similar users interface to DSemu. It supports many homebrew nds rom demoes as well as a handful of Wireless Multiboot demo nds roms. DeSmuME is also able to emulate nearly all of the commercial nds rom titles which other DS Emulators like iDeaS and Dualis aren't capable of running.
